The Iqra Project is an all-in-one Islamic app designed to support your daily spiritual journey. It combines Quran reading, memorization tools, gamified learning, community features, a calendar with prayer times, and more -- all in one beautiful, privacy-first app.
The app includes full Quran access with multiple translations, verse-by-verse recitation recording, gamified memorization exercises with streaks and leaderboards, a built-in calendar with prayer times and Hijri dates, smart to-do lists, community features for sharing recitations, and much more. Every feature is designed to work together seamlessly.
The app is coming soon to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In the meantime, you can create your account on our website and be ready to go as soon as the app launches.
You can create an account by clicking "Get Started" on our homepage. You will need to provide your name, email address, and create a password. You can also sign up using your Google account.
We offer a Premium annual plan at $99/year (less than $8.25/month). This gives you full access to all features including Quran content, memorization exercises, community features, leaderboards, and more. Subscribing on the website saves you money compared to in-app purchases.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page. Go to the Subscription section and click the cancel option. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with your subscription, please contact our support team at salam@iqraproject.com and we will do our best to help.
We take your privacy very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and work with trusted service providers like Supabase and Stripe. Location data, when used, is processed entirely on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
We collect only what is necessary to provide our services: your name, email, password (encrypted), payment information (processed securely through Stripe), and app usage data like progress and streaks. We do not track your location via GPS and we do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You can delete your account from the Account page in the Danger Zone section. When you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back in. After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted.
You can export all of your data from the Account page using the "Download My Data" option. This will provide you with a complete copy of your personal data in a portable format, in accordance with your GDPR rights.
All Islamic content in the app is carefully sourced from established, authentic references. Quran text is verified against established digital mushaf sources. We are committed to accuracy and welcome feedback from the community if you notice anything that needs attention.
We offer multiple widely-recognized English translations. Additional languages and translations are being added regularly. If you would like to see a specific translation included, please let us know through our support page.
